Tanner begged me for geckos when he was 10 years old, so we got these two geckos, Sunny and Raven, for his 11th birthday. I usually take a picture of him with them every year on his birthday, which I combine with their birthday, since we got them on his birthday.

I don't know how old the leopard geckos are. We got them in June of 2019, so we have had them for over seven years, but the person we bought them from didn't know how old they were when we bought them from her. so I'm not sure if it was old age or an illness, but over the last few months, Sunny has gotten skinnier and skinnier and stopped eating. We did everything we could figure to do (we were syringe feeding her the last several weeks), but on Monday morning, Sunny passed away 😢
We waited until that night when all of us were home (besides Dave who was in Japan on a business trip) and buried her right next to our sweet Salty.
Tanner's new shaver box became her coffin.
RIP Sunny. Thanks for the seven years of leopard gecko memories. And for making an 11 year old boy the very happiest of all 11 year old boys!
